How do I make a reservation for a retreat at The Palm Tree House?

You can make a reservation by contacting us through our website, and our team will guide you through the booking process.

Can I come solo?

Absolutely! Around 70% of our guests are solo travellers. The Palm Tree House is a safe and ideal place for solo female travellers. We provide airport pickup and drop-off, and you'll have several other women around during your stay. Meals are communal, allowing you to get to know your fellow retreat guests, and our experienced and expert team are available to assist with anything you need to ensure you feel safe and at home.

Where are the villas located?

The Palm Tree House is situated in the beautiful beachside town of Canggu, just a 10-15 minute walk from the ocean, 5 minute cycle or 2 minute golf buggy ride. The location is minutes away from shops and cafes. We provide bicycles for easy travel within Canggu, as well as drivers for more distant trips.

What age are most guests/what is a typical guest?

Our guests typically range in age from the mid-20s to late 40s, but we welcome women of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. Our diverse group of guests often find they have much in common and connect well. The Palm Tree House is an inclusive and welcoming environment where women are encouraged to be themselves.

What should I pack?

Bali's tropical climate means you won't need heavy clothing. Consider packing swimsuits, sunscreen, a sun hat, a dress for evenings out, flip flops, a beach towel, yoga or active wear, and personal toiletries. We provide bath towels, yoga, fitness, and spa equipment.

What time is check-in/checkout?

Check-in at The Palm Tree House is available from 2 pm, and checkout is at 12 pm on your final day of retreat. Early check-in and late checkout may be possible depending on bookings; please inquire upon booking.

Can I choose a shorter or longer retreat duration than 6 nights?

Yes, you have the flexibility to customise your stay. We offer customised packages with a minimum stay of 4 nights and can also accommodate longer retreats. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

What kind of specialised packages are available for retreat participants?

We provide a range of specialised packages, including yoga, surfing, fitness, Ayurveda healing, detox, and Pilates. Each package is designed to help you reach your wellness and lifestyle goals.

How much money should I bring?

Most expenses are included in your retreat package. You'll need money for incidentals, such as alcoholic drinks, phone calls, and maybe some shopping. You may also wish to dine at local restaurants not included in the package. ATMs are nearby if you need to withdraw cash for additional activities or shopping.

Is there shopping nearby?

Yes, there are plenty of excellent shopping options near the retreat. You can reach shops by walking or cycling within 5 to 10 minutes. If you'd like to explore further, we can organise transportation at an additional charge, with private drivers available for as little as $25 USD for a half-day.

Do I need to rent a car or scooter?

Our Bali retreat is conveniently located in Canggu, allowing easy access to beaches and shops. We provide complimentary bicycles for your use, and we have a driver available for trips to Bali's famous sights.

How long can I stay?

You're welcome to stay for as long as you like. Our standard packages are 6 nights/7 days, but we can accommodate longer stays upon request. Many guests extend their stay or decide to do so upon arrival if availability allows. If you're pressed for time, we require a minimum stay of 4 nights.

What is the Bali Retreat villa like?

The villa includes five bedrooms of varying sizes, all with en-suite bathrooms, except for the two standard private rooms, which share a bathroom. You'll find a large open kitchen, spacious living room, extensive balconies, serene gardens, and a stunning pool. If you seek privacy and peace, this house is perfect for you.

What excursions are included?

Our 6-night/7-day retreat packages feature one sightseeing day to Ubud and one special Balinese cultural day. The cultural day includes a cooking workshop, a traditional Balinese spirit offering workshop, and a visit to Tanah Lot Temple at sunset.
